Rooting allows you to access all of the phone’s features without any limitations. After rooting your phone, you’ll be able to install third-party apps, a custom operating system, and other personalization options.
1. Install your phone’s usb driver on your computer, then install the Odin tool and cf-auto-root file, and then combine the two into a single folder on your PC.
2: Switch on your smartphone’s USB debugging mode. Activate USB debugging by going to System Settings > Developer Options > USB debugging.
3. We’re currently in Downloading Mode, so shut off your device so that we can proceed. When you see ODIN Mode or Download Mode, press and hold the volume down key together with the Home key for a few seconds. Then, release all of the keys.
4. To continue or enter Download Mode, hit the Volume up key once you see the warning message (see first image). As a result, your phone is now in Download Mode.
5. Once Odin.exe has been double-clicked, your device will be connected to the PC in Downloading Mode and ready for use. It will automatically detect and show COM port when you connect your phone to your PC. The Odin tool will also perform massages in the massage box when you connect your phone to your PC.
6: Select the CF-Auto-Root file by clicking on the AP or PDA button in the Odin tool window. As soon as you press the PDA button, Odin will ask for the location of your CF-Auto-Root file. Browse to that directory and select your CF-Auto Root from there.
7: Click on the Odin tool’s Start button after selecting the CF-Auto-Root file.
8. Once the rooting process for the Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH T999 has been completed, an Odin green box will appear.
9: Your phone will reboot and you’ll see a message pass on the Odin tool window after completing this step. Now, disconnect your phone and restart it. Then, go to the Application Menu and look for the SuperSU app. Click on it to launch it.
